Lordy, yah! Was getting strange PHP errors at the time. Hmm. Does this hint at time delving through the backend? Grrrr. Still, I'll have the suit.

Baine, as & suggests, what I'm saying is that my PC happily runs contracts with the heaviest graphics settings turned off.
To be honest, it actually is starting to sound like you have a slightly more serious problem on your hands. When more software starts playing up, you need to start to worry.

A couple of thoughts. I think the first thing you need to do is open up your pc and make sure, absolutely, that the card is seated properly. When you start getting odd problems like that, a slightly dodgy connection in that area can be to blame (looks at self in shame).
The other possibility that jumps to mind is a fault with the graphics card itself. Have you overclocked the card at all? If so, undo your evil warranty-destorying deeds and see what happens. Also, I think you need to run a stress test. I'd a assume that software like 3DMark would allow you to do that. Leave it running for a few quiet hours and see if you get any odd problems there. It could be a sign of two things. A dodgy card or Overheating (a hotspot near your card might cause that as well).

Anything else... UH ,not at this point in time...
Hope this helps in some obscure way...

Mike

Heya guys,
thank you all so much for all the time and effort you;'ve put into helping, initially I found the IRQ was being shared between my Graphics card and Wireless modem card - great I thought, this should fix it! ........... did it? NOOOOOOO! I finally had it checked over by a shop I know, and they informed me that apparently the new nVIDIA drivers have been set to work your card rather hard (especially if it isn't one of the "hotest" ones out there.....if they're trying to sell me one of them, then they're miserable gits!), and quite a few people have suffered burning their cards out apparently as a result!
So, looks like I won't be playing any of my games till I either graduate and earn stupid amounts of cash, or I start selling my wares on the streat Crying or Very sad
Once again, thanks a million
Baine

you read my mind

but in a serious note, I seem to suffer some of the same problems, even while playing Deus Ex, which shouldn't be a problem
and at first I had the same problem with Rome Total War, but that has vanished completely (well until this point where it will probably be bottersome again, after having said this)

anyways, Agency baby, you and I Cool
