I think, that on top of the main storyline of Hitman, there should have been some kind of a Famous Assassinations-mode, where you could be able to execute the history's most public "jobs". JFK off course would be a certain choice. I haven't exactly done my homework on these, so I would like to hear which assassinations would deserve their place here. I would also like to hear your opinions on my idea.

Yeah that'd be alright, You could think up heaps of diff mission to select.
Just to add a thicker story to it, the hitman could be hired by some ultra secret organisation, and 'time travel' (i did say thicker story line, and this is hitman). And you have to complete or change famous hit from the past and recent history. Lots of options there.

Most real assasinations would be very boring to play.
You use JFK as an example. Go to one of max 3 places and shoot him with a rifle. Its basically the same as the first Lee Hong mission but with a moving target.
Oluf Palmer was assasinated out on the streets of Stockholm, but it was late at night and there was nobody else there (especially cops). Real hitmen only have 1 life and so don't take chances with it. For that reason their hits are boring to play in a game.

The Office of classifcation wouldn't allow re-enactments of real world assassinations due too some legal banter about it inspiring the youth of today too act out their sociopathic tendencies and when they do they blame it on the games they play...stupid story as we all know but you know what these people are like.

The John Lennon assassination is another example of a boring hit, walking up to him with a crowd of fans and gunning him down, anyway if you were keen the first mission in Codename 47 is quite close if you kill the Blue lotus guy just before he enters the park with your Silverballer.
