well, since this I don't see this thread anywhere around, so i'll start the official one now.
What weapons, features or skills would you like to see in Hitman: Blood Money?

IMO:
More oddball weapons. The golf club, axe and Katana were certainly fun. So I would like more of those. Or at least several different animations for the ones we already have. Knives have 3 animations (slash, "backslash" and stab), but the fire poker, for instance, has only one (Pounding).

I'll add more as I think of them.

I was actually quite pleased with the dynamics of Contracts. The training level certainly lacked, as did the pretty gun rack thing that kinda made my head hurt. I call for gratuitous sex and more gory methods of killing people and disposing of bodies (see meat hook).

now when I say that, I would like to emphasize one thing. I hate the Melle weapons. Didn't like the kitana, golf club, or the fire ax. didn't like the fire poker or the pool cue. I did like the bolt gun, it just gave you such a tingly feeling. of course that's just me. I call for more silenced weapons, fewer machine guns, and *gasp* no mini gun! The damn thing was useless in contracts. if you're going to haul that thing around, you need to be able to at least move a little faster! I couldn't kill everyone in a level, not for lacking the fire power, no no no, but cuz it took to damn long!

so in conclusion, more silencers, more sex, fewer random weapons.

any way. venting complete

I think they should change the Silent Assassin rewards to something better than mass murder equipment. The only guns you'll ever need are a silenced pistol and a sniper rifle, when the map demands it. The rest is done by the fibre wire.

Stun gun is one good candidate for a reward. Not that I looked hard, but I couldn't find one in Hitman: Silent Assassin at least. And more ways to disable enemies without killing them, like a tranqualizer rifle or pistol, or flashbangs or smoke grenades. Assassinating a target in a closed room with lots of guards would be so much easier with a flashbang. Flash, slash and dash and run!

I like the melee weapons. Being able to suffocate your target with a pillow is just plain fun.

Poisonous darts would be neat. It would take a while for the victim to go down so you'd have time to escape before alerting authourities.

I like the idea of smoke grenades to distract but what on earth is a flashbang?

He probably means a light-stun gun. SF stuff, a weapon that would create such a flash of light you'd be dazed and temporarily blind.

Lasers can blind innocent bystanders, but weapons manufacturers can circumvent Geneva conventions claiming the innocents were mere collateral and not the target, and as such responsibility of the shooter.

Evil finds its way.

he's probably just a counter-strike player.
he means a grenade which disturbs vision and hearing with a flashing bang.

A flash bang is like a non lethal grenade which emits a large temporarily blinding light.

I would like to see some obscure weaponry such as a collar and chain for strangulation like in a nightclub hit.

Condoms could also be used for strangulation or suffocation if you could get it to fit over their head, I think that would be funny to see someone running around witha giant condom on their head suffocating Twisted Evil

They'd either have to have a REALLY small head (the one above the neck for those dipshits that insist on making it seem otherwise) or a REALLY big penis.

Either way, it doesn't seem likely that a condom could suffocate some to death.

Concussion grenades, also known as stun grenades or flashbangs, were originally designed for the British Special Air Service. Concussion grenades are used to concuss, confuse, disorient, or momentarily distract a potential threat for up to five to six seconds. A "flashbang" can seriously degrade the combat effectiveness of affected personnel for up to a minute. The best known is the XM84 Stun Grenade, commonly known as the "Flashbang", so called because it produces a blinding (1 million Candela) flash and deafening (170-180 decibel) blast. This grenade can be used to incapacitate people but without serious permanent injury.

Upon detonation, the fuse/grenade body assembly remains intact and produces no fragmentation. The body is a steel hexagonal tube with holes along the sides which allow a blast of light and sound to be emitted. The filler consists of about 4.5 grams of a pyrotechnic metal-oxidant mix of magnesium & ammonium perchlorate.

Since Blood Money will have highly configurable weapons, will we be able to upgrade to ribbed and flavoured?

Though really, if there's as much choice in weapon mods as we've (hopefully) seen in magazine scans, then a modest gun selection is all we'll need. (like a Cardboard tube w/laser sight, or that anti-armor pistol Very Happy )
