Oof, that was as awkward and uncomfortable to watch as a lot of other things from the 80s. Though Carlton de-fatted himeslf again. Good for him.

I thought Carlton looked quite cool even. I must have missed his fatperiod.
I especially liked the way the Twin Peaks girls still looked foxy, older but foxy.

I would applaud them anonymously from a distance when certain that no one was watching.

I was born in the 1780s, I've got mad nostalgia for red coats and imperialism

it's fittingly lame.

seriously, what a pisspoor decade it was, culturally speaking. The greatest advancement was in scarf and eyewear technology via hipsters

Seriously though, the 90s were crappy enough but there was enough cool shit that you knew immediately we wouldn't be seeing again after 2000.

There's sort of a vague promise of a proletarian uprising in the future but apathy has the best odds. This past decade there's nothing but remastication, remakings and re-edits

While the 90s had more cultural significance, I think that the 00s were an improvement at least in terms of social identity and fashion.

A big step down in terms of political participation on my side of the world, though. It sort of balances out to null, so it lived up to its namesake.

Fashionwise I have to agree

It also brings to mind a new question. Did people back then, '80s '90s, really thought they looked cool? Do you think people ten years from now will look at pictures of us and go "oh my gorf* nerds!"

*in ten years god will become an unutterable and people say "gorf", mark my words

Forget about the 80s, check the 70s:
