The Agent picks up the phone.
AGENT
Lobo? Head for Dupont circle. Enter the second hand book shop. The man there will fix you up.
He hangs up.
MCINNERY
This is not looking good, gentlemen. 47 is still on the loose and is therefore still a threat. A threat we did not need.
AGENT
Lobo could've dealt with it.
MCINNERY
Lobo had the opportunity to deal with 47. He failed. I'm ordering a lock-down.
AGENT
A lock-down?
CONTROLLER
Send out the order?
MCINNERY
Do it.
The Controller starts typing.
AGENT
A lock-down seems drastic sir.
MCINNERY
Does everyone want to question me? I want to assure the man upstairs that 47 has no way of infiltrating our HQ.
AGENT
You're the boss.
MCINNERY
Bear that in mind.
FADE TO:
INT. A BOOKSTORE- AFTERNOON
The Assassin stands behind the desk, a silenced berretta next to a med pack. He taps his fingers on the counter impatiently. He sees something and cranes his neck.
Lobo enters, his pants soaked in blood.
ASSASSIN
Holy. Shit man, you're pretty messed up.
He moves to the door, closes and locks it. He closes the blinds.
ASSASSIN
Let me see that. Have a seat.
Lobo sits down with his back to the counter. The Assassin gets the med pack out and walks to Lobo. He crouches down next to Lobo.
ASSASSIN
Let me see that. This may hurt.
He starts swabbing the wound with a gauze. Lobo is silent.
ASSASSIN
Ducked when you should've weaved, eh?
He smiles. Lobo doesn't.
ASSASSIN
Did you hear what I said? I said you ducked when you-
LOBO
I heard.
The Assassin gets up and moves to the desk.
ASSASSIN
I just need some antiseptic.
He picks up the berretta.
ASSASSIN
( Under his breath)
So long you humourless mother fucker...
He slowly walks up behind Lobo... berretta in hand...
ASSASSIN
This should fix you up.
