Hitman: The Agency Screenplay (Part 2)
by: Anson Fehross | November 8, 2001

OPERATOR

Holy...

The AGENT whirls.

AGENT

Did you order that?!

OPERATOR

No!

AGENT

DID YOU ORDER THAT?!

OPERATOR

NO!

The Agent is agitated.

AGENT

My GOD this is trouble. Break off pursuit. Break off pursuit.

OPERATOR

You need to...

AGENT

Yeah, okay.

He steps back and pulls out his mobile and quick dials.

AGENT

Lobo! Abort!

He looks shocked and puts down the mobile.

AGENT

He hung up on me.

OPERATOR

Oh shit.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE ORPHANAGE- DAY

Debris rains from the heavens, partially covering the Hitman with rubble. Sweeping it away, the Hitman gets up and starts to walk away.

He sees something high above the streets. He stops.

A glint of light is seen...

The CAMERA FLIES to Lobo's shades that glint brightly in the direct sunlight.

In one smooth motion, the Hitman hoists his briefcase to his face as a Walther sniper bullet RICOCHETS off the bulletproof casing.

Instantly, the Hitman sprints away to the side as a second bullet scantly misses his fleeing frame.

EXT. ABOVE THE STREETS- DAY

Lobo leaps to his feet from a prone position and gives chase from above the streets.

With cat like agility, Lobo jumps across from one building to another, barely slowing as he lands.

Lobo sprints to the ledge and fires from the hip at the fleeing Hitman.

EXT. THE STREETS- DAY

A millisecond later, the Hitman rounds a corner, Lobo's bullet misses, slamming into a hapless civilian, sending him sprawling to the ground.

EXT. ABOVE THE STREETS- DAY

Sprinting again, Lobo rushes along the ledge to try to find another opportunity to get a clear shot at the Hitman.

EXT. THE STREETS- DAY

The Hitman sprints down the street; looking behind him every few seconds to spy Lobo.

EXT. ABOVE THE STREETS- DAY

As Lobo reaches the end of the building he stops and takes aim at the Hitman who by now is far in the distance.

CLOSE ZOOM as Lobo puts his eye to the scope.

The CAMERA follows the bullet in extremely fast motion, as it flies into-

-a wall as the Hitman expertly dodges the bullet, tucking and rolling before rising to sprint away.

EXT. ABOVE THE STREETS- DAY

Lobo watches the Hitman sprint off before swaggering away, his long black overcoat slowly billowing in the wind. In the distance SIRENS are heard as the authorities swarm around the smoking shell of the orphanage.
