Hitman: The Agency Screenplay (Part 2)
by: Anson Fehross | November 8, 2001

INT. THE HOTEL ROOM- NIGHT

The Hitman enters and immediately moves to the window and draws the blinds, before rushing to his wardrobe and extracting a duffel bag.

Quickly, the Hitman rifles through the wardrobe, stuffing the contents in the bag. Next he moves to the bed, crouching down to drag out the weighty briefcase. He SNAPS it open to glance at the contents- guns and ammo. He SNAPS it shut.

The Hitman moves to the door, carrying his cargo before he stops...

A GREEN FLASHING LIGHT lights up part of the room as it emanates from his laptop. He drops his goods and moves to the laptop. With some hesitation, he turns it around to read the screen:

SCREEN

Welcome back.

The screen GOES BLACK.

Immediately, the Hitman dives to the side the instant thousands of bullets riddle the wall and window, sending plaster and glass flying in all conceivable directions. This onslaught continues for minute after minute, as the gunfire puts up a CACOPHANY of noise.

The Hitman crawls along the floor, bullets WHIZZING past his head. Finally, he makes it to the door and gets up, exiting leaving the carnage behind him.

INT. HOTEL HALLWAY- NIGHT

As the Hitman closes the door behind him, BONE THUGS AND HARMONY'S THUG LOVE plays. He moves off, walking down the plush carpet hall.

A trio of SWAT team members careen down the hall, before being felled by three desert eagle slugs, each with a neat hole in their eye goggles.

Without breaking his stride, the Hitman continues on, desert eagle in hand.

The Hitman stops at the head of a flight of stairs and peers down to the lobby to see a group of SPEC OPS standing around, discussing the most viable approach.

The Hitman thinks for a moment, before moving off in the opposite direction.

Breezily, the Hitman moved up the stairs toward the roof.

EXT. THE ROOF- NIGHT

The roof door opens and the Hitman moves out, but stops almost immediately...

Lobo stands facing him, his black overcoat fluttering in the cold wind.

SILENCE prevails. Only the sound of a SLOW WIND can be heard as the two genetically engineered men face each other.

As one, the pair launch into action; Lobo whips out a superbly engraved Glock with almost superhuman speed as the Hitman raises his desert eagle.

The pair fire simultaneously, the bullets slamming into their chests. Hitman grunts as his Kevlar stops the bullet, meanwhile Lobo doesn't even flinch.

The Hitman fires wildly while moving behind cover, avoiding Lobo's dead gaze. With preordained accuracy, Lobo's bullets track the Hitman as he moves, 9mm slugs pounding his back and sides.

Finally the Hitman, weakened significantly whirls around, desert eagle poised, but is stopped by Lobo's steel grip.

Lobo twists the Hitman's arm violently forcing him to drop his weapon, before hoisting him up by the neck. Pinning him against a wall, Lobo moves in with the Glock, pressing it to the Hitman's forehead.

A millisecond before oblivion, the Hitman bumps Lobo's aim as the Glock fires, narrowly missing.

The Hitman sends a knee to Lobo's face, forcing him to release him. Immediately, the Hitman sends two swift right crosses to the face of Lobo, rocking him slightly. Suddenly, Lobo mounts his own offensive, as a fist is sent into the prone gut of the Hitman, lifting him up by the brute force of the blow.

The Hitman is sent hurtling backwards into a pile of garbage cans. With cat like grace he leaps to his feet, but he is a moment too late. A perfectly executed axe kick, courtesy of Lobo, lands squarely on his shoulder, sending the Hitman to his knees, followed by a roundhouse to his face.

The Hitman is sent sprawling on the ground, rocked by Lobo's blows. Lobo bends over and grips the Hitman by his lapels. In one motion, Lobo sends the Hitman flying in the air, before a searing push kick to the Hitman's chest in midair results in his being sent backwards into a wall, knocking the wind out of him.

Lobo, with almost impossible speed, reloads his Glock, his eyes never leaving the Hitman's scrambling frame. The Hitman manages to get to his feet before Lobo discharges a pair of rounds at his back, the force of the blast sending him back to the ground. Lobo approaches to finish off the job when the SOUND OF A HELICOPTER is heard. Lobo whirls around to face the Apache that hovers above the roof. Almost instantly, a minigun opens fire, sending Lobo diving for cover as the bullets attempt to find the Hitman.

Seeing his chance, the Hitman runs to one side of the building and jumps off, an instant before bullets trace his path.

EXT. ABOVE THE BUILDING- NIGHT

We watch the Hitman plummet out of sight.

EXT. THE STREETS- NIGHT

The Hitman lands on an awning, the canvas slowing him sufficiently to enable him to check his fall. He lands on his feet, his body rolling to absorb the shock. Instantaneously, the Hitman is off running into the dark night.

EXT. THE ROOF- NIGHT

Lobo watches the Hitman as he makes his getaway. Seconds pass before Lobo turns away...
