Hitman: The Agency Screenplay (Part 4)
by: Anson Fehross | March 7, 2002

AGENT

If he doesn't intercept 47 before he gets to Washington, we'll evacuate.

CONTROLLER

I'm leaving now! I'm not waiting for death to come calling.

AGENT

You're waiting... the building's been sealed. No one in or out until we've got orders otherwise. He is only one man...

The Agent turns away and picks up his mobile.

CONTROLLER

Who are you-

AGENT

McInnery. He needs to know.

The Controller looks slightly scared.

CONTROLLER

Why does he 'need to know'?

AGENT

Because he probably will be down on us before we can blink twice. I don't know about you, but I don't want to be left twitching in a ditch thanks to this shit.

He listens.

AGENT

Sir. I have some bad news...

EXT. THE STREETS- NIGHT/DAY

We see a montage of shots of the car making it's way through Seattle. Night turns into dawn as the Buick parks near a sign that says 'TRAIN STATION 4m ®'.

INT. THE STATION- DAY

The station is empty at the early hour. The Hitman walks up to the ticket booth.

HITMAN (V.O.)

One to Washington. One way.

The ticket seller hands him the ticket. The Hitman moves to stand near the tracks.

HITMAN (V.O.)

Washington...

A train comes along the tracks and stops. No one gets out and the Hitman gives a furtive glance behind him before getting on.

HITMAN (V.O.)

How apt that the capital of this country would be behind this. Who knows how far this goes...

INT. THE TRAIN- DAY

He sits down on an empty seat in an empty carriage.

HITMAN (V.O.)

I have to rearm as soon as I hit D.C. Lobo's cleaned me out, and it'll take nothing short of an RPG to stop him...

The train starts moving.

HITMAN (V.O.)

The agency must've got wind of my intentions by now. They'll be getting ready for me.

The train enters a tunnel.

CUT TO:

INT. THE AGENCY- DAY

As we hear the Hitman's thoughts, we watch as the employees of the Agency are handed bullet proof vests.

HITMAN (V.O.)

I'll have to tread carefully, security will have the place on high alert. It'll be hard to get in and out without being noticed.

CUT TO:

INT. THE TRAIN- DAY

HITMAN

Looks like I'll have to be noticed...

INT. THE AGENCY- DAY

The Controller stands next to his desk, nervous.

CONTROLLER

Didn't he say he'd be coming straight down?
